OUR STORY
Safeguard Security Services Inc. was founded in 2015 by Azim Rahimi with a simple but powerful belief: security should feel personal. Based in Los Angeles, Safeguard was built on the idea that clients should be treated like family, not just account numbers.
With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the security industry, Azim built strong relationships with property owners, managers, and executives throughout Southern California. Over time, many of them asked him the same question: “Why don’t you start your own company?” They were frustrated with poor communication, untrained guards, careless management, and the lack of accountability they saw from large corporate security firms. They trusted Azim, and they wanted his leadership, his standards, and his personal commitment.
In 2015, Azim started Safeguard Security Services Inc. His first clients were not just customers; they were friends. He began with a small, dedicated team of four guards protecting three commercial properties. What started as a small operation built on trust, relationships, and hard work quickly grew.
Today, nearly a decade later, Safeguard proudly employs over 200+ professional security guards and serves clients across commercial, residential, healthcare, banking, industrial, and nonprofit industries. Yet through all that growth, the mission has never changed. Our formula for success is still the same: care for our clients the same way we care for our family and friends.
