1. About us and our services
Safeguard is a licensed security services company (PPO #122311) providing armed and unarmed security guards, mobile patrol, event security, fire watch, and construction-site security across Southern California. Our website provides general information about our company and services. The specific scope, pricing, and obligations of any security services we provide are governed by the separate written service agreement entered into between Safeguard and each client; if anything in these Terms conflicts with a signed service agreement, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.
2. Quotes, inquiries, and communications
Information on our website, and any quotes or estimates we provide, are for general informational purposes and do not constitute a binding offer or contract. A binding engagement is created only through a signed service agreement. By contacting us or submitting a form, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it.
3. Use of the website
You agree to use our website lawfully and not to: interfere with or disrupt the site or its security; attempt unauthorized access to any system or data; use automated means to scrape or harvest content; or use the site to transmit unlawful, infringing, or harmful material. We may suspend or restrict access for any misuse.
4. Text messaging (SMS) program terms
By providing a mobile number and consenting, you agree to receive text-message communications from Safeguard.
- Program description: operational alerts (for example, high-severity incident notifications) and service-related notifications sent to our staff, authorized personnel, and consenting recipients.
- Message frequency varies based on operational and service activity.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply to the messages you receive.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages.

- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Intellectual property
The website and its content – including text, graphics, logos, images, and the Safeguard name and marks – are owned by or licensed to Safeguard and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Safeguard from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the website or violation of these Terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to the website or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above shows when they were last revised, and continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
